If we don't want to provoke trolling, why don't we set up a "no-respond" policy? If someone says something stupoid, ANYONE, not just the persons in question, ignore it. It could shut them up really fast.

ATD and well basically everyone, I'm sick of posts like these. This is my personal view. Bashing people in diff threads doesn't seem to do good in a.) getting them to leave or b.) in helping the moral of the forums. Maybe it makes you feel better to speak your mind, and yeah I'm with you on wanting to speak mine blatantly and in a perturbed manner, however it doesn't solve anything other than build more forum drama. On that note I'm closing this thread. If any other Mod dissagrees with me on this re-open it.

I have been having ongoing PM conversations with WW about his posting style. He is more used to another message board where there really is no concept of inappropriate humour and so I've been encouraging restraint on his part. I know his posts have sometimes made light of topics that we take seriously here, and they have annoyed me too, but he is willing to try to adapt to this forum. This said, he is now on his final warning to sort out his style. I know that you all have no responsibility for his actions but please try to correct politely those that post jokes in serious threads.

I'm not just talking about WW here, there have recently been problems with people jumping down the throats of new members for spamming more serious threads. Please remember that these forums are quite different in their tone from many other places on the web and that this will always take some adjustment for some people. Try to keep it civilised!

JaJay has been very irritating in his continual returns. I have just written a lengthy email explaining once again why he was barred and why so many people here are annoyed with him. I do have a final resort that could be taken to remove him but this would have an effect on his everyday life so I am unwilling to do this lightly. As always, please have patience. The mod team are doing their very best to keep these forums polite but we need your support. It's up to every person on here to take responsibility for the tone of the forums, by allowing ourselves to become angry we only encourage a spiralling of the problems, by remaining calm we will always win.
