Wisconsin cheeseheads scare me.
Since a whole bunch of posters live in the UK, lemme explain. The American football team in Wisconsin, the Green Bay Packers, have fans. And they wear foam triangles of cheese on their heads. Kind of like painting yourself blue if thats your team's color, but much more embarrassing. Click Here
Look in the upper left hand side, slightly to the left and behind the ball. THAT'S a cheesehead.

I simply love Venezuelan Beaver Cheese. Mmmmm!
Customer: Good Morning.
Wenslydale: Good morning, Sir. Welcome to the National Cheese Emporium!
Customer: Ah, thank you, my good man.
Wenslydale: What can I do for you, Sir?
Customer: Well, I was, uh, sitting in the public library on Thurmon Street just now, skimming through "Rogue Herrys" by Hugh Walpole, and I suddenly came over all peckish.
Wenslydale: Peckish, sir?
Customer: Esuriant.
Wenslydale: Eh?
Customer: 'Ee, Ah wor 'ungry-loike!
Wenslydale: Ah, hungry!
Customer: In a nutshell. And I thought to myself, "a little fermented curd will do the trick," so, I curtailed my Walpoling activites, sallied forth, and infiltrated your place of purveyance to negotiate the vending of some cheesy comestibles!
Wenslydale: Come again?
Customer: I want to buy some cheese!

Funny cheese story....uh....
My grandmother tells me that when my dad was little, he would sleepwalk totally naked into the kitchen and stand there at the refrigerator just eating cheese...
Good times. happy.gif

I like cheese that has flavour.

I also like peas. So sometimes I like to combine the two and get some Cheesy Peas! Or if I'm in a rush, I get it in a ready to use formula in a tube - Squeezy Cheesy Peas! Or if I'm holding a dinner party and I want summat posh, I get Gourmet Cheesy Peas; manky peas mixed with stinking cheese. Ooh ah, dead posh!

Cheddar is the queen of cheeses its extremely versatile, comes in many strengths, and is the cheese that you use to make cheesy beans with. Which happens to be my favourite snack
Marsyas

Cincinnati is crawling with Greek restaurants that probably do flaming cheese...

melted blue cheese stuffed in mushrooms with a hint of red pepper
yum

me likes a smoked gouda with me saucy beverages as well
jicama
i was gonna quote python, but i see i am too late.

i like a good spiced gouda myself. especially on a turkey sandwich. with fresh garden tomatoes. and lettuce. possibly some salt and vinager chips. chips are great in sandwiches. you wouldn't think so, but they add a nice bit of crunch that is really satisfying.
Fandangohead676

Garden Vegetable Havarti all the way, but I agree dill is great too.
Tigersong likes smoked gruyere (sp?), I also like brie.

Sometimes we go to this fancy French bakery/bistro, and we order the $8.00 fruit and cheese tray appetizer, and it comes with 3 kinds of cheese all sliced fancy, and the 4 little samples of fruit are all in fancy shapes, like ultra-thin apple slices in the shape of fans and bird's wings, and crescent moon / horn shaped cantalope standing in the middle, and 3 dried figs, and yeah....I was totally impressed.

My parents hated it when we went there. For $8.00 they were expecting the world's biggest fruit salad. My dad thought the tiny yet exquisite and delicious arrangement was some sort of joke. My mother couldn't identify all the exotic greens in her salad, nor would she eat the single choice of salad dressing, made especially by the gourmet chef Remi, that day.

I love my parents, but we are not going there again!!!! Sorry bout the rant.

Wow I sound like an upstart bourgeoise socialite. I'm not usually like that! But...my parents embarrassed me!
Rattgirl
I am a simple goil, with simple tastes....my daily Cheese of Choice is the hearty Co-Jack cheese! Humble yet brave mixture of Colby and Monterey Jack cheeses!

If I feel like being snooty, I eat swiss....tongue.gif ok j/k. I'm not much of a cheese connoisseur, so about all I can say is that I love soft cheeses with herbs and garlic in them. Preferably chives. Yup.
