of all the times someone has written a poem that is a bunch of segments of three lines, i am still awaiting the one who will write a terza rima.

*shrugs* it was crap. but hey. i'm not my most inspired. I just need to bulk out my anthology a bit for the publishers. Below is a better example...probably...

Spinning

Songs are flowing freely through me now
as blood flows through my veins
squeezing through the pores of my fingers
like sweat on the brow
as the temperature soars
in the choking fever.
Poison is within me

I cannot get rid it is consuming me
taking over losing control
as the room starts spinning
stars in front of my eyes
I'm fighting but it's winning
losing grip on reality
as it all comes crashing
down...

*funnily enough it was indeed written while I was on the brink of insanity, right before...erm...yah. Brings back some weird feelings when I read it. *shrugs* it's not fab. but i like it in a weird way...it's a little tiny part of me...but now i need a hug...and i have no david to hug... sob...*

Of course this will depend on how much time, effort, stress, blood and tears this takes (or rather how much of a pain it would be for Mata) to create a poetry / literature / arts forum.

A creative art forum would be fabulous......although I do feel sorry for Mata having the pain in the ass job of making it.....

actually it isnt hard at all to create a new forum. i admin another board, and i created a fanfic section. took me all of 5 minutes cos i didnt know what the hell i was doing

You know, it never hurts to ask. I'll PM him and see what he thinks on it.

I would say Media would be the place to put this stuff, but that's more like discussion on published things, like movies, or video games... not so much user-created stuff. I know we had a thread in there once with some artwork, but thinking back on it, we've had little threads with poetry or whatever in just about every section of this forum, and wouldn't it be nice to centralize it? It might even encourage creativity... imagine that. Hmmm.
