i painted my nails on saturday. they are a shimmery purple-green.

martha is way too type A for me to like her, but i don't think it's fair that the media seems to be creaming her worse than the enron prez when what she did wasn't nearly as bad.

also, i just finished an assignment that's due tomorrow and it's not even close to bedtime so i'm feeling pretty damn swell!

Nail polish is pretty, isn't it? Though my sister uses mine more than I do... Also, I have no idea what anyone else in this thread is talking about.

I don't like the supposed 'pretty' pastel colours... I can deal with some black on me nails and maybe a bit o' muddy green.. dark of course.

I can't paint my nails as I need to keep them uber short to play the violin and I always thought me having really short nails looked daft with nail varnish. Boo!

I havenails to paint but I don't bother cause you can be sure 2 mins after it has dried I'll have chipped it! So no point in doing it!

I was quite shocked to see Ms Stewart invoking the spirits of evil to help her lay a more perfect napkin. I painted my nails on Saturday but it's all peeled off since then. Actually it was nearly gone on Monday... I think I mixed up the top coat and the base coat, but it was still really satisfying to peel nail polish off my fingernails like that. I haven't done that since I had CAbbage Patch Kids nail polish sometime in the 80's and it used to come off like dried glue and so I'd paint my nails just to peel off the nail polish. My mom had to hide the bottle from me so I wouldn't use it all up. I don't know why. What else was I going to use it for? Bah. If I liked painting my nails just to peel them off, what's the problem with that? I mean it's not like she was going to use my Cabbage Patch Kids nail polish. And I'm pretty sure that neither my two brothers nor my dad would have used it, so why couldn't I use up the whole bottle painting and peeling?

Anywho, I like Martha Stewart, she has a nice voice and she makes me feel superior to her. And that's a good thing.
