Rose--Haven't had one of those for quite a while.

Thorn: I got stood up by a supposed friend today. I waited half an hour for her. And she doesn't even have the courtesy to call me, or leave me an email, or something. Goddamnit. This is just what I not needed. I was looking forward to this, as a way to cheer me up a little. Figures.

Roses: Eh. I have yummy tea.

Roses: My rat has, so far, lived a very long and full life.

Thorns: Yesterday he had some sort of attack, maybe a siezure, I am unsure, but I believe he is dying...

Thorns: 1. I have to start over on this god forsaken project that I've put a good 90 man hours into, without very much fruit. So I'm starting over, and it has to be done by Monday. EGAD! 2. 420 is tomorrow, and I had FOUR back ups, just incase 3 people happened to DIE or something, and 1 is on probation, 2 are grounded for an array of reasons (dumbasses) and one can't score a car. To top that off, I had $40, and someone stole 20 of those dollars, which means I have no money. The rest of the money needs to go to the Mother's Having a Birthday Fund. Which means I'm about to explode with soberness. 3. I have to stay after Wednesday to watch junior varsity softball *bangs head against wall* which has to be the most boring thing that's ever existed beside varsity softball (sorry to any softball players, but seriously, let's step the fun up a notch) After the game, I must interview the players and write a sports story, due Friday. The things I do to get a decent transcript! 4. I have to walk to this library every day this week to do that project, and the FORSAKEN weather lady (a slut in a mini skirt) says it's supposed to be 70-80 degrees, but with humidity it felt like 90, and the library is a mile and a half away... up hill both ways. 5. I have this SOB project on Marfans syndrome or something, I don't even know what it's called, I think that's it. It's with a girl who's schedule is more clogged than mine, and we're never going o get it done by Monday...
I'm going to freaking explode, because on top of all that crap I have the MOUNTAINS, and I mean TONS of homework (3-4 hours a night of this crap) because I have to do the written work, but there are functional tests and finals right around the corner and I'm about to DIE. Technically, I shouldn't even have time to complain.

Rose: I'm not dead yet

Rose: I can wear shorts and not get yelled at by every person that sees me.

Thorn: I'm sticking to my chair.

Rose- I have now collected twelve patches on my haggard-ass black jacket.
Throrn- It's getting too hot out to wear it.

Rose- Spiffy's coming down for the summer.
Thron- I have to give up smoking.

Rose - my next major vacation is summer vacation
Thorn - That's almost 8 weeks away

Rose: Superb sales at "my" shop
Thorn: Realising that all I think about is the shop

Thorn: For the most part I had a horrible day, I have to get on new medicine to keep my anxiety down so I don't vomit from it, and I feel the weekend was wasted because I was so upset. And I need more money. And my mechanical pencils keep running away

Rose: On the recovery already

Rose - It's been a glorious sunny day which I have taken full advantage of.

Thorn - I've been a bit of a bitch the last couple of days, itching for a fight and probably annoyed people that I have no right to annoy.

rose - i spent the day watching my littlest sister doing ridiculous tasks while bouncing on a trampoline for two hours solid, she was doing a sponsered bounce to raise the funds she needs to go to the scottish youth theatre summer festival, and she has it all now!

thron - i got incredibly sunburnt, damn my fair and flawless complexion...

Rose: I met an exceedingly pretty and charming girl on my recent trip to Blackpool and i can get her number if i want to...

Thorn: This comes in the wake of finding out that the old boyfriend of the girl i was in love with (big romantic sigh unneccesarry, its old news), aka one of my best mates, still has feelings for her... so ive been going on and on and all the time he's just kept totally quiet. bah.

Rose: I'm probably going to get to walk the west highland way in a week or so.

Thorn: It may cost my bestestest mate his fiance.

Rose: I can finally actually get to go to california to see all the delightful people over there.

Thorn: I'm not sure they're speaking to me anymore

Rose - I don't have to pay an obscene amount of money for my pipework because I have brow beaten my insurance company into paying it. YEAH!!

Rose - My son pulled himself up to standing today. DOUBLE YEAH!!

Rose - I spent £200 in about ten minutes internet shopping today.

Rose - For the first time in about a month I'm not feeling like the whole world is conspiring to make my life difficult.

Rose - The weather has been glorious.

Rose - There is no thorn to this day. None whatsoever.

Rose: Umm... I'll be 18 soon. Sort of.
Thorn: Feeling more and more abandoned by my friends. I know it's inevitable as everyone goes off to university, and all that, but I still don't like it. I'm lonely. And I'm surrounded by people. Hurrah.

rose: i got to shoot neds with pink paintballs today for several hours...

thorn: it cost me almost £70!

rose: i went to prom

rose: i danced with my freind kurt and it was fun

rose: i was alll prettied up, and shocked quite a few people (pictures impending)

thor: i cicnt sleep in this morning so i feel like im going to fall out of my chair

Rose: I've got no course work to do and only one exam on the 21st May

Thorn: I've got nothing else to do

Rose: CWSK is almost over (one down, the other in on monday)

Rose--took AP exam today, easy and overwith

Thorn--feeling like sh*t

Can I guess that that's AP Biology, Max? The tests are administered on the same day nationwide, aren't they? Yeah, I took AP English Literature and AP Studio Art last week. Not bad, but not fun or anything.

Anyway...

Rose: It's about to storm and I love thunderstorms.

Thorn: The storm could take out the power and then I'd be left alone and computerless in the dark void that is my life without the internet.

European History actually. It was kind of fun.

Thorn - I crashed my car

Thorn - It will not properly hook up to my DSL

Rose - My boyfriend is coming over tonight
Thorn - He's getting his wisdom teeth removed tomorrow

Wow...and I was the last one to post too. No matter, because I'm so thoroughly eccstatic right now that I'm not sure there are any thorns:

Roses: I just got onto my MSU student account to see what financial aid came through and despite getting my corrected FAFSA in late, I'm getting both a Pell Grant AND a Cap Grant!!!!!! I'm so effing excited!!!!!!

For those that didn't know, my dad died a year and a half ago, and with that went $70,000 worth of yearly income. My mom makes aroun $15,000 a year, so yeah...without financial aid I'd have no way to pay for college (aside from working really REALLY hard).

And to top that off, my border that I ordered for my room came in a day early, so I'm feeling eccstatic right now!!

And to a lesser extent, I'm happy because I'm still in my pajamas...mmm...comfy.

Oh yes, another rose: My boyfriend's wisdom teeth removal went swimmingly and he has virtually no swelling or pain, and he can even chew solid food a bit.

The thorn associated with that is that I'm slightly jealous because last year when I got mine removed, my jaw locked up for a solid month, and he thinks it's fun to flaunt how smooth his went (even though he was scared out of his mind).

YAY!

Rose: Coursework presentation is over finally

Thorn: My internet got cutoff for 2 days (how ironic!)

Thorn--Had a horrible, horrible, horrible day, barely had a moment where I didn't want to curl up and die.

Rose--Feeling went away for a while.

Rose - I have got a load of stuff off my chest, not least of which was telling my partner some things that he really should know.

Thorn - They weren't good things. Or nice things and now it's going to take lots of work and talking to get this relationship sorted out.

Rose - I've not been dumped yet.

Thorn - It could happen at any moment.

Rose - Having my hair braided tomorrow. *does a little dance*

Rose - Partner has returned to me

Thorn - I'm a little slut - bag that doesn't deserve what I have.

Rose - Lie free and happy with it. (always the silver lining)

Thorn: Didn't do a book review due on a book I didn't read

Rose: My teacher is too nice and too busy to notice.

Thorn: 31 days until I get to see James (ri) again

Rose: Only a month until I get to see James again.

rose- i only have 4 days left at my crappy job!

thorn- bussiness isnt up enough that its worth staying for 4 more days

rose- my big move is coming up fast!

thorn- im begining to realize how much i will miss everyone

OK guys it has been a really long time since I posted on here so I am going to use the rose thorn idea to bring people up to speed just in case they want to know

ROSE: I have just finished my work experience as a teacher. I now only have two weeks left at uni and then I am qualified

THORN: I have just finished twelve weeks at a brilliant school and I am going to miss everyone. Shitty kids included!

ROSE: I have a week off before going back to uni

THORN: I have an essay to write in that week

ROSE: I have a fantastic new CAREER (everyone say oooh) starting in september

THORN: Start in september so I have a crappy summer job so that I can eat

ROSE: The school is spitting distance from my house

ROSE: The school is in my home tonw

THORN:... which means that I am living with my parents which is driving me CRAYZEEEE!!! I miss all my friends etc etc

Thorn: It's been a year since I moved my stuff from what was our house and I still think of him a lot. Generally with anger. Not good for the soul.
