What do you guys think of HomestarRunner?

I'm a big fan... I dig the Strongbad Emails and to say that the Cheat is anything but a badass would be blasphemy. Sure the humor is sometimes kind of dumb, but hey, that's what makes it so bloody charming.

And for those of you who don't know what it is, Everybody! Everybody! check it out and giggle.

Oh, I haven't been in a while. I don't know, it's rather stupid sometimes...as much as I laugh at stupid stuff, those cartoons never really struck me as funny.

It's probably because I'm too used to my stick-death movies. Those are stupid *and* there's blood.

Stick-death has gone to utter crap. It was much better about 4 years ago. Now I just don't find it funny at all.

Anyway, back on topic, I <3 StrongBad e-mails. I was wearing a StrongBad shirt to go grocery shopping about 2 weeks ago, and 3 people in my tiny little town knew what the shirt was about and came up and talked to me about it. Sadly, I've never gotten that reaction with my Matazone shirts.

That is truly saddening.

Heh. My friends and I have daily debates on Homestar Vs. Ill Will Press Vs. Mata. We tend to switch sides mid arguments, though.

homestarrunner.net (It's dot com!) is great!! I love the cheat. The cheat rox my sox. This thred actually reminded me that there should be a the cheat hoodie (current dollar/pound exchange rate means I can buy practically anything I want. Mwa.) being mailed to me, somewhere, at this moment (come to think of it, where the hell is that thing?). Umm... yes. It seems I also lose the ability to be coherent when talking about the cheat. I love him that much. *sings* The cheat is not dead!! I'm so glad the cheat is not dead!! *pauses* I think I have inflicted you with enough of my the cheat worshipping now. To close this message off I'd just like to say: "Cheat Commandos, rock, rock ON!" *hides*

I have to say, I'm a big fan of Ill Will Press, there's some very funny, bitter, writing on there, although I've tried contacting the creator and he's not very good at answering emails.

Homestarrunner has never really tickled me. Sometimes it's good, but it's been too inconsistent for me to ever really get into. Nice animation though.

I'm in love with Strong Bad.

Ill Will Press is cool. So is Homestar Runner. I like to go to Newgrounds.com, and it pretty much has a little of everything

Strong Bad owns you. Trogdor, the Dangeresques and number 69 are the best animations EVER. They are better than any Matazone ones (sorry, but Mr. Sb comes 5th (hey, Mr. Sb and Sb)) better than Weebl and Bob (I don't find that funny anymore) and any web comic. Even PA.

Oh wait, they are 2nd best.

Anywho... I have to say that PA has it beaten in out and out hilarity. As for animations, this is how I kind of look at it:

Homestar owns the random, more childlike humor.
Ill Will Press owns the darker, more out and out angry humor.
Matazone owns the more satyrical humor.

While Mata never made that catchy of a tune *BADGER BADGER BADGER BADGER* I liked them much more as far as animations go.

OMG... why have I never been introduced to Ill Will Press before? That little... Foamy thing... he's my savior. Thank god there are squirell like creature animations out there like him... or her. Whatever it is. I've only seen 2 of the shows, but I'm going to leave right after writing this to watch more.

I didn't care for Hometar Runner that much. My friend loves it. Ill Will Press is cool, but I like Mata's stuff at least five times more.

I like Homestar Runner for their hefty amount of updates. At least they're consistent.

Since I'm crap at reconnecting all the wires where they're supposed to go, my computer no longer has sound. Which means I can't watch the Ill Will animations I haven't seen yet. (muffled sobs) And if I watch the matazone animations one more time, I will actually be able to talk along with them. Wait...oh darn.

I was never really into Homestar Runner. I first heard about it when talking to one of my friends about how great the animations on Matazone are. In response she told me about this animations website. She went on and on about it like it was the greatest thing in the world. But I really didn't find it comparable. Matazone sets up some pretty high standards.

well, i find the Strongbad emails to be the best part. there's a lot of humorous violence in it (like when Strongbad beats the crap out of strongsad) and Strongbad is just so mean, i find it hilarious
