Latex. Leather costs a lot to get stiched up, and once it's ripped, it's gone...latex is a bit easier to replace if a whip makes a slash in it

also, more potential for getting a tighter fit

I would say, on the whole, although hamsters are incredibly cute and furry, that rain does more good for the planet than hamsters. It's presence means life can be sustained, although it sometimes is jolly inconvenient.
