and now it's time for FOOT ODOURS EXPLAINED:

The culprits in foot odour are sweat eating bacteria.

The problem begins when bacteria become attracted to the sweat on your feet and start feeding on it.

The bacteria's excretion has a strong odour that causes your feet to smell bad.

Since each foot has over 250,000 sweat glands in it, and produces over a pint of sweat a day there's a lot for the bacteria to eat.

What makes the situation worse are shoes and socks which trap the sweat on your skin. Now the bacteria have their favorite kind of environment: dark and damp, causing them to go into a feeding frenzy. More waste is excreted, and when you take off your socks and shoes, your nose is presented with the results!

whooops i just realized that when you move a thread it still shows up on the old board. stupid me....

well ive been here from pretty much the start and its always been very non serious, sure theres a helluva lot more cr*p written now and it was better with less topics but more talking, but theres no need for serious topics all the time, thats what were here to escape from!

maybe general chat needs to be split, the non discussion and discussion sections? i think that would generally provide much better meeting of all peoples needs... i know i could go for a bit more political discussion while i know crazi doesnt give a damn about anything political.

but then the definition between the two would become blurred! where does a discussion about the powerpuff girls (for example) fall? discussion (coz it is one) or non discussion (coz its not serious)?
