Hey guys, typing this from my Dad's laptop where the mouse has gone insane on us. Apart from brief and intermittent periods of functioning normally, it navigates its way to a corner of the screen and sits there, ignoring our efforts to move it. Occasionally it clicks on its own. We've tried using different mice, and disconnecting any mice and using the keyboard to control the pointer - none of this works, so it's not the input device that's the problem. Any ideas what might be wrong, and how to fix it?

go here and download the mouse drivers..

then go to control panel, systems, device manager and update the driver or try to reinstall it. It sounds like a driver is corrupt.

Also I don't know if this applies or not but maybe it will help.
