I've still got 75 posts to make before I overtake Cheese Is Funny, in my intermittent quest to bump up my post count. So now I'm resorting to a spam thread, but I'm going to make it at least mildly worth the time. So I'm going to do some crap spoilers. There's only two rules: First, it has to be something that the whole world probably already knows, so no telling us the end to a new film or anything. Second, there's no second rule.

Here goes:

In Titanic, the boat sinks.

One down, 74 more to go...

Bruce Willis is dead!

If you don't know which film that refers to, then I won't say. I don't want to spoil it.

73...
leopold
Darth is Luke's dad!

72...
leopold
Leia is Luke's sister!! No wonder the awkward moment looked so convincing, huh?

71...
leopold
In Kill Bill, Bill gets killed. I won't say which one it is...

70...
leopold
Private Ryan was saved! Hurrah!

69...
leopold
You know Free Willy? Guess what? The whale, called Willy, was freed! Who didn't see THAT coming??

68...
leopold
Neo is the One. Because Neo is an anagram of One. Blatant clue, that.

Anyone not seen Psycho yet? Well, close your eyes and, while it's dark, contemplate what the hell you're doing with your life to have avoided such a classic.

Anyway... Norman Bates' mum is actually Norman Bates. Yeah. He's a psycho. Duh!

66...
leopold
Harry Potter doesn't die.

65...
leopold
And neither does Hermione, while we're on the subject.

The Planet of the Apes is actually Earth!

Although Mark Wahlberg discovering Aperaham Lincoln was a plot twist too far, Tim. This is why I don't rate you as a director. That and your relentless pursuit of making weird films that always star Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. Seriously, stop it now. I'll give you Beetlejuice, but everything else is rubbish.

Rant ends.

Batman saves the day.

62...
leopold
So does Superman...

(61)
leopold
... and Spiderman...

... and the X Men...

Technically, this is cheating right now. I'll think of some better ones.

Ooh, cue the Pixies: Tyler Durden is a figment of Edward Norton's imagination.

Where is my mind, by the Pixies, seems to be on the playlist for the Clarendon Square shopping centre in Hyde, incidentally. It always seems to be playing when I go in there, at any rate.

Bruce Willis doesn't actually die hard.

Bruce Willis doesn't actually die hard.

He doesn't die hard with a vengeance either. Although he does make a decent fist of living free...

The Fifth Element is lurve. The most disappointing thing in an otherwise blimmin' brilliant film.

In the Poseidon Adventure, the boat sinks.

(54)
leopold
In The Towering Inferno, the tower block sets on fire. A really, really big fire. An inferno, if you will...

Nearly there!

I never thought making seventy odd posts would be so difficult! I used to knock out fifty a day in my busy time on here! Damn you, silent forum!!!

Anyway, some superhero reveals: Bruce Wayne is Batman.

(52)
leopold
Spiderman is actually freelance photographer Peter Parker. I know, I thought that as well... wink.gif

Superman is Clark Kent, but really, he's not. Bit of an interesting character, is the caped crusader. Unlike other superheroes, who are just humans who have a superhero alter-ego, Superman is actually who he really is. Clark Kent is who he becomes when he wants to go incognito. Unlike every other hero, the human identity is actually the one wearing the costume.

I figured something more interesting than the usual spam crap for the landmark 50 was in order.

I can try to get you another post. Guess what my movie is.

Famous quote from the movie, "I see dead people."
Spoiler, he's dead.
What's the movie?

lol Good luck in your quest! I like the super hero reveals. My son would approve!

Bruce Willis will actually die on another day other than the ones during the filming of the most recent Die Hard. Having seen the quality of the writing, he might wish he had already died.

(Only 49 to go Leo... It's so close...)
