I'm dissapointed in you, guys. No Halloween topic...and it IS Halloween. tongue.gif

So, what are you going as? Do you have pictures?

What are you doing?

moop was going to go to Germany for his company's 10th anniversary party, but they've moved it to November. Instead we are going to a friend's party later this evening. I am going as Medusa, and he is going as a guy turned to stone. biggrin.gif Much more fun than what I had planned when I thought he'd be leaving the country (I was going to stay in and paint our bedroom -- I am just that exciting).

This year is the first year in, well, EVER that I have not carved a pumpkin. Shocking. I don't even have my costume completely finished, so no pictures yet.

This was me last night (yes the guy next to me is dressed as Ash Ketchum).

I went with costume laziness, but some people there put massive amounts of effort in. Including a guy who'd mock-embedded a smashed bottle into his head, including sticking many shards on with liquid latex. Also someone who'd dyed his entire body red to do Satan, and various others.

The plan: Uncle drops cousin off at my place, mom takes me to my friend's house to go trick-or-treating. From there we walk to Walgreens, buy ourselves some candy to later stuff in pillow cases, and then go to this party this (hot and awesome) guy from school is throwing. Mom goes out and hangs with her friends (it's conveinently her birthday, so my curfew is essentially nonexistent, as long as I pull off pretending to be home) while we party. My friend is the designated driver (and for the purposes of this post 21..), so when we're done at Michael's we (friend, cousin, me) continue the party at my place so said friend can have fun, and hopefully clean up/fall asleep before my mom comes home.

I don't think we're doing a costume thing. Maybe just dress ourselves up in glow sticks..

Pictures are doubtful because they'll leak on Facebook, and suddenly everyone will know about the party that was never supposed to happen.

I'm having a quiet one this year, so I think it's going to be a horror film and a couple of drinks. Most disappointing really! I hope you all are going to be doing something more interesting. It's most unlike me to miss an opportunity to dress up in a silly outfit!

I played Left 4 Dead in the day, watched Planet of the Apes in the evening, and ate the chocolate that the trick-or-treaters didn't get.

Next year I'm doing something more exciting.

I reserrected my Angel of Death costume but didn't bother with the wings seeing as I was just round at a friends house and they would have got in the way so it was more just a Death costume. (makes more sence if I explain it that way so it doesn't come across as the skelletal Death which would look veryveryvery bad on me tongue.gif )We just spent the evening scaring children and chatting and watching Evet Fielding hanging her husband live on Most Haunghted. Quiet but amusing night was had. biggrin.gif

I did have some stuff planned, but the flu attacked me. I had an army-chick costume. :P

Serial killer.

I don't know many people here yet, and the friend I was planning to do something with let me down by getting the flu, so I stayed at home by myself and watched a film. Not that I would have dressed up anyway, I'm far too lazy for that.

We had a pre-other stuff (parties/ going into town) party and I dressed up like this:

Yes, that is my real hair. I have just finished my bath, using half a bottle of conditioner to get the knots out.
My main aim of the costume was to creep people out when we were in the clubs as noise+ smoke machine + my cloak = people turning round and shouting "ARG!".
In one of the clubs, there was an oxo cube and a sachet of ketchup, a robot, salad fingers, slash, pipi longstockings, rupert the bear, wayne and garth, a chicken, joker, megatron, various bumble bees and ladybirds and lots of others. I was incredibly impressed with so many costumes!

Maaaan I wish I would have taken my camera. The house was decorated pretty thoroughly, and some people actually wore pretty cool costumes. A few witches, a female pharaoh, a chick dressed up as Edward Scissorhands her costume completely home made, a ghostbuster, a mummy, a few vampires, yeeah. Party was fun. My mom called me like 11:30 and told me I had to be home by midnight, and so she knows that I'm home, to read the note she left for me. Meh. So Sam drove me and Dom, but Dom's parents picked him up. It was still cool. Stuff + a whole bunch of people from school + wii + pool (billiards and a real one) + foods + foosball + awesome music.

Oh, some drunken idiot broke one of the wii controllers by throwing it into the wall. It was pretty funny, but the owner got pissed and we couldn't play anymore.

First, we went to go see Paranormal activity in the theatre...and almost got kicked out because a girl in our group is only sixteen. And Neither her or I have an ID. They kept walking up and down the aisles trying to find us, so we all either took off our jackets or hats or glasses and split the group into two rows. Escaped successfully, and the movie was pretty freaking awesome.

We then went to eat at a sports bar, where we learned that there was a Texas State VS OU game tonight. We stood up and cheered when everyone else in the resturaunt did, even though we weren't following the game at all.

Then we decided to have a look at a school that has been condemed since the 70's (and was built in the 20's). Turns out there was a guy there making sure no kids broke in on Halloween (it's extremely dangerous) and he invited us in and gave us a tour of the parts that were safe enough to walk through. It was beyond awesome.

Then went to get coffee at the 806, saw many hipsters in costume. Possibly made my night when I saw Dr.House slap another guy on the butt.

annnnd...that's about it. smile.gif
