The guys over at Penny Arcade are doing their annual charity drive again, Child's Play. The objective is to buy toys and videogames for children's hospitals - you can buy toys direct (via the site) from Amazon, Toys 'R' Us and Imaginarium or just donate cash.

C'mon, people - kids need toys!

Alright, I apologize, 'cause this isn't going to necessarily be about the Child's Play thing, but more about donating, especially to kids.

I'm on a committee on the student council (look at me, all involved in school activities and socializing with peers) that's working to collect donations for a South African orphanage. These kids don't have shoes or clothes, the babies don't even have pacifiers. They have wrap toddlers in blankets instead of clothes because they don't have the funds. Baaaaad times.

Donating to these organizations helps so many kids. People much less fortunate than you walk this earth, and what you might take for granted is everything to them. Whether it's sending toys to sick children or giving school supplies to orphanages, your help is appreciated beyond your belief. Have a heart.
