I have to say rain. I don't know why. It's just nice and watery and makes a nice rattling noise on my roof.

Anyway, what's your favourite weather and why?

Once you've picked, pick more specifically, as I came up with too many to fit in the poll:

Sun - Heat wave/Drought
Sun - Very hot
Sun - Moderately hot
Sun - Sunny, but cool
Sun - Sunny, but cold
Rain - Torrential
Rain - Heavy
Rain - Moderate
Rain - Light
Rain - Shower
Wind - Trees uprooted/Lorries overturned
Wind - Fences blown over/away
Wind - Your lovely little flower bed destroyed
Wind - Just normal
Wind - Nice little breeze
Snow - Very deep/Avalanchey
Snow - Deep
Snow - Moderately deep
Snow - Flurry
Hail - Very painful
Hail - Painful/Umbrella piercing
Hail - Mistakable for snow
Storm - w/Fork lightening
Storm - w/Sheet lightening
Storm - w/ball/dot lightening
Why should I care about the weather?
I hate all weather.
I love all weather!
Weather's alright.
Other that I've missed off the list (please specify)

For the long term, I've chosen Sun (Moderately Hot).

But I do love deep snow. And I love watching (and sometimes being in) heavy rain. Fork lighting too is fantastic to watch.

But I love it when it is sunny and warm enough for me to be wearing a t-shirt, driving along with my window down, looking at the nice sun-drenched scenery. I don't like it too hot though. biggrin.gif

I like the sun when it's moderately hot. It's pretty and it doesn't hurt to go outside.

Sunshowers! They're the best, because it warms the rain so you don't freeze when you take a walk in it.

Perfect is a nice Seattle summer day. Not too hot, just hot enough to feel the sun on your skin. Not too cold, just cool enough so that it gets crisp in the mornings and you need a jacket. And a light breeze through it all.

(I chose wind.)

I love those winter mornings when it's really cold so that your fingers hurt when you touch them but the sun is out. It puts me in such a good, relaxed mood. But personally my favourite is heavy rain. It is so fun to run about in and makes me really hyper. I also have got into the rather annoying habit of never looking down when it's snowy, rainy or windy and so that it all lands on my face and gets in my eyes, but it feels great. smile.gif

I also love stormy weather with lightning but I always have to put the phones downstairs when it happens. I just do, ok? dry.gif blush.gif

Sunny and hot, with a little wind and nice big fluffy white clouds. Then you've got to have a little storm in the evening, with some fantastic lightning, so theres a clear sky at night and you can see every single star.

I put other because it depends on the time of the year for what my favorite is. Right now I'm loving the sun as it comes back and all I want to do is go lay outside and let my pasty white skin turn into a pasty light beige skin.

By August I'll be wanting the rainy days back and the cool weather. When the first rain comes I'll go sit outside and soak up all the water even if I'm sick. Then this time of year will roll around again and I'll be back to liking the sun more.

I must say that rain is definitely the best weather. There's something about how people look soaked in rain that makes them vulnerable. I also live right on an awesome lake, so water has been around me for a very long time.

I love fog.

I just like it when it's so foggy you can hardly see your hand if you hold your arm out, just being so enclosed by the fog in an open space.
Also it's so still, no wind and the most gorgeous kind of cold you could ever imagine!

Umm... yeah, I like fog.

Me too!

For a day with perfect weather, I'd have to live somewhere crazy where the temperature can change about 20 degrees a day. I'd have a morning like Teapot's, and then graduate to a nice sunny noon, not too warm, with a storm in the 2-o'clock-region. A big one, with lightning, but far off, so I could walk around. It'd get cooler as the day went on, so the afternoon would be crisp and sort of sunny. And then the fog would come--total, complete fog. Somehow it would clear up by sunset, and I'd be able to sit on my roof and see stars. Mmmm...

I like really heavy snow... but I never get to see it anymore. But, I prefer days that are dry, super heavy cloudy, and about 80-85 outside.

In no particular order:

Hot, sunny, lazy afternoons which change into heavy, warm evenings which make you want to walk around town in bare feet, and make the word "Sultry" spring to mind.

Wild storms, with any kind of lightning and thunder, when the pressure which has been building up releases, and it gets cool and fresh afterwards. Usually summer storms.

Thick, heavy fog, or fresh snow, where everything is muffled and perfect.

Heavy rain where everything is soaked and no-one cares, and you can go outside and stand in it and feel fresh and clean.

Cold, crisp autumn/winter days where you go back inside and curl up with someone to keep warm and its great cos everything is clear and bright but cold enough to be close.

I don't like heavy, close air or humid weather. At all. I am kinda oversensitive to pressure in the air, and it just makes me feel... I dunno... claustrophobic. Or something. I don't like it.
