My mother emailed me:

Who told you about the Bunny of Death - I thought I had kept that a good secret!

And she wonders where I get it from...

I like to be comforting.

The picture came first and the poem second. I looked into those dark eyes and I saw a craving for fresh mistaken finger/carrots.

I didn't know about The Bunny of Death. Thanks for the warning.

My mom saw this and said "I did too tell you! He usually just goes by 'Easter Bunny', though."

It was probably scared away by Uncle Louie. A combination Santa/boogeyman figure that my parents told me about.

If you shared with/were kind to your brother then Uncle Louie saw and told your parents. You got the bigger bowl of ice cream. Nice things would occur. smile.gif
Uncle Louie was also who we were likely to be given away to when naughty. He'd also snitch if you hit your brother. ohmy.gif
Uncle Louie was invisible so it was difficult to tell if he was around and watching. dry.gif

On an amusing note I was browsing the gift cards one day at University and came across a good one. The outside read "blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see" and the inside said one name. "Louie" blink.gif
I immediately bought it and sent it home to my folks. biggrin.gif

So that's what the Easter Bunny does the rest of the year...

Very haunting....

I think I had best stop molesting my cuddly bunny toys before they exact their revenge on me. sad.gif

Very intimidating, but still no kind of match for Samurai Lapin (no katana). It does seem like a good year-round job for the Easter Bunny. Good for your mother, Mata. Without her influence, there would be no Bunny of Death. Huzzah for homicidal rabbits!
