What name do wish you had? Even messing with last name. What would you name your kids? I know those aren't neccessarily the same.

My names: Alexander Jon Campbell, Jordan H. Knox (the "H." doesn't stand for anything)

Sons: Bryant Lee, Darius Adam

Daughters: Lynn Jeanne, Sara Grace

Just wondering, because i'm trying to see what names people like best. Do you like my choices?

If I ever had a girl I would name her Enid Jasmine. Of course I don't plan on ever having kids, so alas my name choice is irrelivant.

If I had kids...well, then Hell just might freeze over. But, if I did, the girl names I would use would be Noelle Marie or Serena Madeline, and the boy names would be Harvey Thomas or Charlie George.

I like the girl names Lucinda and Alexandra (yes, pretty old fashioned names). My boyfriend has picked out the boy names he likes: Anthony and.... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... I can't remember the other name he had picked out... and I liked the other name better than Anthony too so you'd think I'd remember it... ugh, oh, well.. I'll remember and get back to you on that one smile.gif

Does anyone else find it odd here that some of the people posting the names for their children, dont even want children? Why do we think up names for kids we dont plan on having? Hmmmmmm I've always wondered why I did that myself. lol

I think children should be given names at birth then allowed to choose their own name during their teenage years. There are so many people who don't like the names they were given but stick with them because it is expected... I just didn't suit my given name so now everyone calls me Mata (which is actually short for Matazone, which is an Italian name). I was given the name Timothy when I was born, and whilst there's nothing wrong with the name it's just not me.

If I have a son I want to name him Jesus.

He would tell everyone he was "SON OF GOD", because you know Im a god(dess) and all... he would get some diciples and they would follow him around. Then some one would kill him. That would suck, but I hate kids anyhow.

Oh well...

If I have a daughter I'm naming her "Amber Katrina"

but im not having kids so this makes no point....

Hehe, I'm horrible with names, I can never remember them. Thus, I never would remember a name i liked... smile.gif.

Mata: How do you pronounce Mata? Is the first "a" a hard or soft a, I can't sound it out. I think it's soft though. Hehehe, I'm horrible with all languages (even the one I was born into, english), but I know phanetics pretty well. Only down side is I can't spell worth shite. ::sigh:: Oh well, I can code like a madman. ph34r.gif

There's an easy pneumonic to help you remember it.

It's a place for indeterminate stuff.

Matter-zone.

Works for me, innit? Took me blinkin forever to get used to the whole name change thing. Well, maybe about 2 years, I guess.
