i know this might sound really dumb, but i can't find my kitten anywhere and it makes me sad. i've looked in all of the usual kitty hiding places (i.e. on the cabinets, behind the piano, behind the tv, in the basement, inside the couch, in the closets, by my fish . . . etc) and he's no where to be found. and i don't think he's been eating any food (yes, i can tell if food has been eaten or not, but it's kinda hard when you have multiple cats), so it might be that he somehow got outside.

anyone have any other ideas of where he might be hiding if he's still in the house? anywhere that i might not have thought of yet?

Have you checked any places where there is laundry? Cats like laundry... unsure.gif

I hope you find your kitty...

awwww... I'm sorry... sad.gif I don't have any experience with cats so I don't have any idea where else a cat might like to go... when I had a roomate and she had two cats all they seemed to like was my bed and my shoes.... so that's not much help....

I hope you find your kitty soon though!

Well I don't think that il guy got very far. I got a kitten myself that has claimed my room has sanctuary in there whenever it freaks out. The best bet is to leave him be and let him explore on his own. He will come out eventually. Sammy didn't eat much either in her first few days of being here but she's grown accustomed more now. She still is freaked out of the dogs but she's slowly learning that my room isn't the only good spot to hide in. Give the baby time, they'll be ok smile.gif

You'd best start looking outside by now. If kitty's still inside, he's bound to turn up eventually. But if he got outside, it won't take long before he's too far out of reach and can never be found again. Good luck in any case.

And when I am formulated, sprawling on a pin,
When I am pinned and wriggling on the wall,
Then how should I begin
To spit out all the butt-ends of my days and ways?
And how should I presume?

eeek...im sorry you can't find your kitty! sad.gif

i once thought mine got outside, but turned out i'd left my underwear drawer open a crack. she opened it a lil bit more, crawled inside, and curled up for a nap. strange, strange kitty.

try rustling the food bag (if you give them dry food)....that always gets mine running to me..lol.

I love you in a way that is mystical and eternal and illegal in 20 states.

this is probably a bit late, but anyway......
kittens (and indeed cats) can end up in some of the most weird places. like in junk cupboards sleeping in a plastic watering can. sleeping on the chair that has been pushed under the dinner table. behind the fridge (like so many other things!). i've found that the best thing to do is to turn all the non-essensial appliances off around the house if possable ( this includes the t.v! laugh.gif ), and do something quiet like reading. if the moogie is still in the house it will make its presance known (by sound or smell! laugh.gif ). hope this helps.
