So omg i found this new pill.. well its not like a pharamseutical you get it from street venders but what it does is it makes yah eat less or not eat at all so i cant eat what i want but loose th wait yah know... th only thing is that it makes my hand shake and talk really fast and like be really hyper and do stuff really fast and sometimes on the weekends when i take alot of them (6 instead of 2 to 3) i get like lal wacked out and like the ground is spinning and stuff. But there awesome.. ive only been taking them a week and ive lost 13 punds.. ive never had weight loss like this ever ever ever... ok ok well i gotta yeah and stuff but if ne one wanst ne iu can order you some... weee ok well umm bye ...

That's unbelievably bad for you. If you keep it up, you'll end up being dependent on those things, if you aren't already.

Any method of losing weight other than old fashioned diet and exercise is generally pretty dangerous (or just doesn't work). You should not lose more than 1 to 3 lbs per week, actually. Anything more is unhealthy.

And as for it making you not eat...there are food groups for a reason. You need stuff from all of those groups to be healthy - even the fats and oils (in sparing amounts).

Anything that is too good to be true really is just that. And the fact that you're getting it from street vendors... I wouldn't even buy a hot dog from a street vendor, let alone pills.

What you are taking is a form of amphetamine. I doubt their legality but I'd say they are probably dexedrine (which can be available with a prescription, but I'm pretty sure is illegal for weight loss) or they might be being sold under the name dex-amphetamine. Anyway, Dexedrine or any other version of amphetamine are in the same family as speed, otherwise known as methedrine. Amphetamines are addictive, literally,not the addictive that they use to decribe the dependence on marijuana but the addiction that comes with herion and barbituate use. I don't want to tell you what to do but it's quite dangerous to take amphetamines for any purpose other than treating ADHD and some rare cases of eating disorder. I've used both methedrine and dexedrine recreationally, the come-downs are bad arn't they? Have you been ratty lately? It's the speed, and it's going to get worse. Generally recreational use is safer than what you are doing because recreational speed users don't use amphetamines every day, like you are. Amphetamines are renound for making it difficult to eat, but dangerously so.

Basically, I really strongly advise you to stop taking them before you develop an addiction, amoung other things. This is coming from a person who thinks most 'hard' drugs should be legal. I've used meth and dexies for short periods of time and of course MDMA which is also an amphetamine. Regular use is so super dangerous that you may already have a slight habit right now depending on you dosages. the five mg tablets are too much at 6 a day. Another thing is the risk of overdoseing. Honestly, if you must use Dexies use the ten hour slow release ones. They'll keep you awake but they arn't half as dangerous.

I hate to sort of burst your bubble, but yeah, those street vendors are selling you speed. I'm just telling you this because you are putting yourself at risk, I know the feeling of coming down off meth, that aching in your bones and feeling physically sick at the thought of food. Do you want to know what addiction is like? It aint pretty.

Yeah, well said juice. As a former speed addict my self i'm warning you, as a friend, to stop now before you do yourself long term harm. The effects for a woman can be disasterous, resulting in fertility problems, mood swings, exhaustion, premature aging, the list goes on....
I suspect the pills being sold by a street dealer are highly impure, and more than likely cut with anything from aspirin to cleaning agents. They may make you feel good now nummy, but believe me you won't see them as your new friend for very long. Please try to stop takin them, you should love yourself for who you are and sod the people who are too narrow minded to do the same.They are not worth it darlin...
Also, please don't offer to order pills for people on this forum, because in effect you are offering to deal, and there are a lot of younger people on here who aren't streetwise enough to know what they are dealing with. Just remember everyone on here is someone's son or daughter, and if anything went wrong you couldn't live with yourself, or the reaction of their family...I know if anyone offered my son chemicals i would not hesitate to shop them to the police...

Yep, sorry Nummy but they sound like amphetamines to me too. It's your choice at the end of the day but I know I'd rather not have my friends taking drugs, especially if they aren't entirely sure of the consequences and content.

See if you can get the ingredients list for the pills. If you can't then they are _very_ dodgy, and I'd really not want to put things in my body that have such a dramatic effect without knowing what's in them. If you can get an ingredients list then look some of them up and find out excatly what's happening inside you.

I read a very useful bit of literature about weight loss recently and it told me that you should only weigh yourself first thing in the morning before you've eaten. I wondered how much of an effect weighing myself at other times might have... I've been going to the gym when I have time (and waving my arms around using the Playstation 2 eyetoy to work up a bit of a sweat when I've not had time!), cutting down on the occasional treats, trying to not drink so much beer (tricky!) and I've lost about a stone in the last four months which I'm very pleased with but it has been hard work.

Anyway, I've been testing this 'weigh yourself only first thing in the morning' idea. Over the course of the day I can put on 9lbs or more! The weight difference at different times of the day is enormous... Which makes you wonder about these diet clubs that weigh you in the evening...

Another thing that I read is that a good way to tell if you are losing weight healthily is that if you keep a track of your weight in the mornings and about two days out of ten seem to be a few pounds lighter. The body looses then recoups tissue but more recent weight is easier to shift so this is a sign that you're going in the right direction.

Again, sorry that we're all coming down on this idea but I'm sure you know inside too that these things aren't good for you. If you're getting crabby when you don't take them (or if you're not giving yourself long enough to get crabby at all) then you definitely need to stop. Ive seen requim for a dream and its nothing like that at all.. they keep me awake during school and im looking thinner than ever what can be soo bad about that.. i mean i can fit into 0 jeans.. 0.. i havent been able to do that since like 6th grade... I know what it's like to feel like being skinny would fix everything though. I know it's not true but there's always this little inner voice telling me that I'll never be happy unless I loose a few stone like an itch I can't scratch. And there are times when if someone told me that taking a pill would make everyone I care about dissapear but also make me thin then I'd take it....

Everyone is on the money with their concerns Nummy. Personally, I think you have clouded judgement right now because you see yourself looking great and I'm sure the chemicals in those drugs aren't helping you judgement or common sense out at all.

Seriously...its not a safe move to be fiddling around with that kinda stuff. Unless a doctor prescribes them to you and unless you were like really in dangerous levels of high weight and your doctor offered to help, then I say stop taking them. Alarm bells are ringing. The symptoms you describe are exactly those of amphetamines.

As with Tara, I used to be fairly heavy speed user. It is NOT a nice drug. And it sounds to me that what you're taking IS SPEED .

Which is not good.

It can affect you for the rest of your life. I have a friend who is pretty f***ed up by excessive use of amphetamines. His seratonin (the mood-regulating hormone) levels are completely unbalanced, and his body is unable to produce it in the requisite amounts anymore. This condition is unlikely to heal. As a result, he is literally unable to feel pleasure in any great amount. i.e. he's never going to have fun again. He also has serious kidney problems thanks to the speed too.

My open, friendly advice is to stop now. No amount of 'weight loss' is worth putting your mental and physical health for the rest of your life at risk.

I just spent the last 24 hours with my hands boun dto a bed... i didnt know what withdrawl was intill my friend joe a paramedic found what i was doin and made me stop. They strapped me down at his house and they all took shifts watchin me. I have to keep mouth guards on to keep from chewing off my lips or chipping teeth. all my nails have been filed down to nothing. even my toe nails. they took away all my jewlery. They brought me home but i hafta sleep on the living room floor with my best freind on the couch. Im doin ok right now but i dunno how the night is gonna be.... this really feels awful
