Well, if I was even partly responsible for an increased level of syuu-ness in these parts, then my return to the forums was entirely worthwhile.

The intriguing creature that is Ms Funked Out Frogg is awesome. On my way to uni this morning, rushing out of the door, I grabbed my post to open it on the bus on the way. Along with the usual bank statements, bills and junkmail, was a brown package from "Mistress Frog". I opened it and although being slightly disappointed at the lack of worn undies, I was delighted by the noodles and funky chopsticks biggrin.gif

So, again, as stated many times in this thread, Ms Frogg is so awesome it is sometimes unreal.
*hugs*

Despite the fact that I have no noodles or chopsticks, I must agree - the frog is indeed funky.

Well I have to mention first of all, my delight in finding a site where positive comments are encouraged. Excellent. Liking this thread.

Have been happily glued to the computer watching all the VAST and Rammstein videos I can conjure up as I am at home dosed up to the eyeballs on steroids and anti-biotics thanks to a chest infection and Asthma!

Liking the humour shown by those members posting on this thread. Yes most agreeable. biggrin.gif

Has anyone posted in this thread saying how nice Ashbless is? If not, they should.

I haven't ever spoken to her outside of the forums, but as I mentioned in the Roses & Thorns thread I got a Halloween card from her in the post today. I was her Secret Santa last year, and since then I've gotten a couple of cards from her. When I was going through the whole divorce thing she sent me a very sweet PM, even though I knew her even less well back then.

In short, Ashbless rocks. smile.gif

Mmm. I know what you mean. There are far too many sites out there which are ruled under an iron fist by alpha-nerds who like to crush any new and interesting people and opinions that don't mesh with their own. Straight from the off, this forum has been a much friendlier, more welcoming place, and it's good to hear that people respond well to that.

I hope you enjoy your time here, and perhaps we'll see you one day at one of our irregularly-organised and gloriously foolish meets. If you can bear to see any of us in the flesh, that is. Brr...

Gloriously foolish meets, great description!

Yes is difficult to find sites where the moderators are mature enough to be diplomatic and who can cope with the differing opinions of others.

This place is proving to be a refreshing change. So I am already enjoying my visits here.

Thanks. smile.gif

A quick shout for LoLo, partly for giving me a funky new av (whatever the hell it is... wink.gif), but also for just being plain great all round. Huzzah for that!

Further props to Daria, for being a better friend than I have any right to expect from someone I've known for mere months, and who kept me most of the way to sane during the last month or so, and to syuu, for adding a beguiling phone manner to the (very, very) long list of things I absolutely adore about her.

This place f@cking rocks, doesn't it?

Hmmm... I know we're not supposed to disagree in this thread, but I'd hardly refer to myself as "mature and diplomatic". I'm normally too lazy to bother biggrin.gif But it's nice to know that we mods are appreciated for our efforts; it's great when everyone can be who they are without hassle, and it makes it a nicer place for us as well.

It all stems from the top, as in all hierarchical organisations, where the attitude of everybody is driven by the person sat at the top - in this case our very own Mata, whose own views on what this forum should be have been carefully nurtured and shaped into what it is today.

Much lvoe to LoLo for yet another bizarro avatar, this one doubtless inspired by my recent Duckula fandom on Facebook. Nice work, m'dear - I love it, even if it is a little creepy... wink.gif
