They don't, the age of consent is now the same for same-sex pairings as well.

Well... like... I always find it strange how that it's illegal to have sex under 18 in Cali, but 15-year-old girls that are pregnant don't get arrested... that's always confused me... so what's the point of the law, then? You know?
