OK, let me set the scene for you...

43 years ago a lot of my gran's family moved away to Australia and have been there ever since with only a few visits. My gran lost her brothers and parents very young and although I vaguely knew she had distant relatives in Port Seton I knew the people she grew up with were all in Australia. Then, Mary, my gran's cousin's kid met the Crown Prince of Denmark, Frederick, and now they're getting married (next Friday) and everyone (and I mean everyone) came home on Monday and we had a huge family reunion last night, there was about 70 people there and I'm apparently related to every single one of them, it were spiffing! Ooh...plus my gran and grandad are going out for the wedding, and my gran had to get two dresses made cause the wedding celebrations are like three days long with banquets and galas and all that jazz, and now she won't wear one of them! Damn her!

On a sidenote, I was in a chatroom yesterday and talking to this guy who turned out to be Danish, so I told him everything and he got all stoppy, said it was nice to see I'd done my research but I was taking the p**s and blocked me...grr...tongue.gif

Any way, happy happy joy joy and I'm thinking of setting up a family newsletter via e-mail smile.gif

Little solace comes to those who grieve
When thoughts keep drifting
As walls keep shifting
And this great blue world of ours
Seems a
house of leaves

So did that guy accuse you of lying then? unsure.gif What makes him so sure he knows all about it??? Other than living in that country of course! laugh.gif

Hope confidentally, do valiantly, wait patiently!

I hate family reunions. They're not so bad except for the fact that my family's there.

With every breath...and all that I am...I will make a stand...until the end.
