My leg has been pulled since May 26th and it's extremely annoying. Yesterday, I thought it was getting better (it was), but being impatient with the temporary loss of my martial art ability, I tried some kicks. Unfortuneatly, I'm pretty sure I repulled it dry.gif (the sudden pain and fall to the ground sort of clued me in). So does anyone know how to speed up the healing (and/or tell when it's healed). It'd really help. Thanks in advance.

There's no magic cure for healing a pulled muscle. All you have to do is give it time. Stay off it, don't try any kicks anymore, and when you start to work it again, do it in stages. You may have to very slowly work back to the place you were before you pulled it in the first place. This may take a very long time.

Try some tiger balm. That'll soothe it, but like Geoff says, you'll just have to stay off it for a while.

Every sort of expert knowledge and every inquiry, and similarly every action and undertaking, seems to seek some good. Because of that, people are right to affirm that the good is 'that which all things seek'...

Tiger balm works extraordinarily well, at least in all my cases. Smells good too, but it might be one of those smells you have to have a taste for.

What I do, and I'm not sure if this is healthy but I think it speeds up the process, is stretch the muscle til you can't stand the pain anymore. I get pulled arm muscles all the time, so I lay down on my bed, force my arms to grab the head board, and pull very hard but I never let my body go anywhere. Works for me, but if you're afraid it might hurt too much or might not work, then just go out for some tiger balm and get some rest.
