I tried to upload a AV from tripod but I can't as the URL is to long. Is there a way of getting around this? Isn't it a problem if people can't upload from Tripod even though it's a suggestion in one of you sticky threads?

I'm fairly sure that Tripod don't allow remote linking of images anyway, so it wouldn't show up even if the URL did fit. MSN groups allow linking of images, maybe give them a go, or ask someone else on the forums with their own site to give you a hand.

Have a crack at changing the file extension to txt and see if Tripod'll let it out then.

Try to keep avatar sizes down. Some people have occasionally linked to some really huge images and it just means that people on dial up connections have to wait ages for pages to load.
A still image of the right size shouldn't need to be over 30k at the most, a moving image (animated gif files for example) should be around 150k tops, and at the very very most 250k. -------------------- Trouble Down Pit: Still updated every Monday and Friday

No, not at all, it's less than 10k, but someother people's aren't, animated ones especially can get very large very quickly.
