Lab work

How many people here are at/have been at uni and did a lab work subject? I'm finding it really weird to have the freedom to work through things over two days, especially as I'm doing chemistry and I spent ages making things hiss and smoke yesterday. Physics and biology have lab days here too, as well as computer science and biochemistry, and technology/engineering types, so I wondered if anyone else is having/had as much fun as I'm having??
Oh and because I'm pleased with myself, I got an A- on my first practical script, which is as near as damnit to a first-class level as I've ever been

The Saga Of Matazonian University Applications

I was thinking (the pain) that there are at least a few people here that are applying this year, myself and Polo being two of them. So, I thought I'd stick this thread on here so we can let you know how we're all doing with it.

Myself, I sent the application to my referee yesterday, and he's just attaching the references. I can't believe I've done it...now it's just the waiting. The good thing is, I can track what the universities are doing with it online.

Keeping my fingers crossed

University Application

Can anyone help me get over the sudden fear I've encountered whilst filling in my UCAS application online?
I'm scared. What if they don't want me? And I've only looked at two, so I have to apply to ones I haven't been to, and that's scary too, because if they're the only ones that accept me I might not like it there.
It's all just very frightening, and I feel quite alone in this, so I thought I'd talk to you guys, 'cause you're all great and wise etc...even simple hugs would help
