It's been quite some time since I've posted here... kinda sad.
I dunno if this should go in Daft or Media, but it definitely is something worth looking into. Although we're all busy 'round this time of year with the our vast amounts of schoolwork, and the wintery weather, and whatnot, but let us not forget the things that are truly valuable to us- video games. With all of lifes stresses and difficulties we really need a little time to do things we enjoy. So I bring to you a new holiday, a better holiday- Winter-een-mas! Winter-een-mas is a holiday celebrating videogames and those who play them. It lasts for an entire week, January 25th-31st, and during these glorious seven days you should be kind to your fellow gamers, wish others a happy Winter-een-mas as well so they too can enjoy it in all its glory, wear any gaming apparell you happen to own (if you own none you could make some), and most importantly of all: PLAY VIDEOGAMES! During Winter-een-mas you should schedule just a little bit of time each day to play videogames, old and new alike. You could get out an old console and play some older games, or go out and play a new game. We should take this time to organize LAN-parties and Halo-fests. For more information about Winter-een-mas goto: http://www.wintereenmas.com/faq.html as well as http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/?t=archives&date=2003-01-27 January 27th, 2003-February 5th, 2003 http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/?t=archives&date=2004-01-09 January 9th, 2004-January 31st 2004 http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/?t=archives&date=2005-01-03 January 3rd, 2005-?????

Old threads make me feel like posting on them is useless.. as so many others already have. I find myself barely reading many of the posts in the middle of a thread with 2 or 3 pages, except the stuff that catches my eye. I was wondering if anyone else ever feels this way. I think new threads make me feel more special and good. I don't think I've made a new thread ever either so.. it's a good thing. Someone respond or I'll look dumb.

I wanted to have one choice.. I thought that it would be funny. but it said "A Poll is a choice, 1 entry is not a choice".
Well... some might say that it's not destoying your social life.. it's just changing it to be an online social life with people you've never met. Although others would agree that "destruction is a form of creation"... anyway.. I've never made a thread or a poll.. I thought it necessary. ------------------ watch Donnie Darko (although I bet everyone has already) |
