I don't know about you but I'm soooo sick of plastic surgery on tv!! There's drama/soap's about it, documentaries and I saw on cable this thing called "Extreme Makeovers" where you win surgery!!
Now, call me old fashioned, but if I was gonna get a prize from entering a competition a trip to hospital would not be my first choice!! I've just seen a guy who's 57, has a successful business and is going to have £5,600 worth of cosmetic surgery to reduce the size of his nose and increase his chin - he also wants his ears pinned back and his teeth done!! Incidentally his wife has already had £85,000.00 worth of cosmetic surgery - I kid you not!! Don't get me wrong I think the development of plastic surgery is a fantastic thing and has benefitted numerous people who've been disfugured due to illness, accidents or birth defects. And I also appreciate that gender-reassignment and surgery for people that are emotionally effected by the way they look is also another viable reason to use surgery. But when I see the majority of people who are having "elective" surgery for what, to me, seems a fairly vacuous reason I just don't get it - wouldn't they be better off, financially and mentally, if they spent some of that cash on a therapist so they could deal with some of their issues??

Well, it's saturday night and checking the rest of you guys it's not only me that's stuck in - or maybe there's a time-zone thing that I've missed and it really is only me that's in on a saturday night!!
So, what's a standard night out?? (or in for that matter!) I like dressing up in pvc and scaring the local low-life in the bars.... I think scaring the locals is a fairly standard goth thing though....

Hi!
Well...... (blushes)...... this is kinda awkward....... it's my first time...... Don't much like being a "noob " though - sounds like something that could affect you psychologically and possibly be corrected by invasive surgery. Am a bit concerened about the noob trafficing that appears to have been occurring - I don't want to wake up with a bump on my head and dressed in rubber, hanging in a cage... or do I??? |
